TWWM moderation information - updated March 16 2018

We operate on a warning and three-strike system. Most violations of the TWWM Group Rules are approached first with open communication and a warning. Compromise is always our primary goal and we believe that working together on balanced solutions is an ideal moderation method for our community. We are not a police force, we are here to collaborate with you on keeping a safe, fair, and welcoming environment at TWWM.

Warnings

Warnings are not strikes and are primarily an effort to better explain the rules. Warnings are issued for minor problems such as inappropriate behavior (general rudeness, spamming, ignoring Discord rules for links, etc), scoring issues (fabricating points, clear exploitation of points system), content violations (not labeling NSFW submissions or submitting NSFW art/writing that is not within the rules, image/stock use without permission, distasteful portrayal of TWWM content), misuse of journal submissions (repeated disregard for journal submission rules, attempting to sell GP/AP/game assets), character design issues (changing character IDs or traits without earning them in the game, submitting MYOs that are derived from copyrighted characters), and GP/AP misuse (fabricating logs, moving AP/GP between players or characters, resubmitting old artwork/writing for multiple scores or other exploitative gameplay).

Receiving 3 warnings will lead to a strike being issued to your account.

Strikes

Strikes may be given if previous warnings have been disregarded in a way that indicates purposeful misuse of the game or negative intent within the community. Strikes can accumulate and result in temporary bans. Strikes are issue for significant problems such as transformation violations (attempting to sell TFs, TF scams), art theft, plagiarism, species theft (attempting to sell original esk designs without permission from witherlings), and harassment/bullying. The following are serious violations that will always result in multiple strikes: attempting to sell stolen artwork and/or attempting to sell characters that belong to other players. 1-2 strikes are given per violation depending on the circumstances of the situation.

Receiving a total of 3 strikes will result in your account getting banned. Once your account has been banned, you may not participate in the game and group any further. Your esk are your characters and you will of course still be their owner, and you may continue to use them outside of the game as personal characters.

Zero tolerance

We have a zero tolerance policy for hate speech, discrimination, and sexual harassment. These violations result in bans.
